Step into the world of the Theatrical Lighting Designer with our immersive Theatre Lighting Design Workshop, curated for aspiring lighting designers, technicians, and theatre enthusiasts. This hands-on session explores the art and technology behind theatrical lighting — from understanding the fundamentals of light and color to mastering control boards and rigging techniques.

 

Participants will learn:

• Lighting Design 101

• Theatrical lighting techniques 

• Lighting programming 

• Lighting paperwork and cue sheets 

• Introduction to Touring Lighting Design

 

Led by Sean Devenish, this workshop balances creative exploration with technical know-how. Whether you're just beginning or looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave with a stronger understanding of how lighting brings a stage to life.
