For the past eleven years, the BurlOak Theatre Group has entertained sold-out crowds of all ages with a twist on a traditional Pantomime. Celebrating classic

fairy tales like Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and more!  BurlOak Theatre Group is preparing for its 12th year mounting a holiday show at the Oakville Center for the Performing Arts. Come and be part of the audience as they laugh, cheer, boo, sing-a-long and even dance! This year's show should not be missed!

Pantomime (informally known as a panto), is a type of musical comedy stage production, designed for family entertainment. It was developed in England and is generally performed during the Christmas and New Year season.

Modern pantomime includes songs, slapstick comedy and dancing, employs

gender-crossing actors, and combines topical humour with a story loosely

based on a well-known fairy tale. It is a participatory form of theatre, in which the audience can sing along with certain parts of the music and boo and cheer!
